NF1: What Parents Should Know

CHOC Children’s spoke to our medical geneticist and Associate Director of Genetics Center’s Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory regarding neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). NF1 is the most common neurological disorder caused by a mutation in a single gene, occurring in one in every 3,000 children.
